VisionImmo is committed to participating in the local life of Bernex and is renewing its partnership for the 2025-2026 season with Signal FC Bernex-Confignon.
By chance, despite being in different leagues, the two teams we support faced each other in a Swiss Cup match last weekend.
On Saturday, August 16, Signal FC (2nd Inter League) hosted Etoile-Carouge FC (Challenge League) at the Bernex municipal stadium for the 1/32 finals of the Swiss Cup.
Despite a strong defense preventing the Stelliens from scoring during regular time, it took extra time for midfielder Yassin Maouche to open the scoring for Etoile Carouge in the 93rd minute.
The victory was then sealed by a second goal from Luca Sestito and a third from Bruno Caslei, with a final score of 0–3 for Carouge.
The team led by Daniel Nieto can still be proud of holding a Challenge League team scoreless for 90 minutes.
